Destiny awaits a pair of young lovers and their Valkyrie protector, as their forbidden love threatens to thwart Wotan, the King of the Gods’ master plan to combat the forces of evil. Searing passion and radiant ecstasy are met with moments of exquisite beauty in Wagner’s masterful score, as the cosmic drama speeds towards its inevitable conclusion.

Bringing together Valkyries and their flying horses, a magic sword and the ring of power, the Orchestra of the Music Makers presents the long overdue Singapore premiere of Richard Wagner’s Die Walküre (The Valkyrie). Together with director Edith Podesta, conductor Tzelaw Chan and a cast of major international singers, you will be transported to a mythic world where cosmic might meets earthly humanity.
