To kick off the year 2020, the Orchestra of the Music Makers will be presenting the Singapore premiere of Richard Wagner’s Die Walküre (The Valkyrie), the second of his Ring Operas, on 5 January 2020 at the Esplanade Concert Hall.

For this semi-staged production, a cast of major international singers has been assembled, many of which are veterans of Walküre or the Ring operas. Die Walküre will be directed by Edith Podesta, in her third collaboration with OMM (Hansel and Gretel 2017, Bernstein’s Mass 2018), and conducted by the Orchestra’s Music Director, Chan Tze Law.

Tickets on sale from April 2019.
