OMM celebrates Elgar’s magnificent choral work, The Music Makers, on its 9th anniversary. Drawing inspiration from Arthur O’Shaughnessy’s Ode, this lush, emotional work overflows with beautiful harmonies and great melodies drawn from Elgar’s many masterworks.

The Taipei Philharmonic Chorus reunites with OMM for this concert shortly after opening the 2017 Taipei International Choral Festival, and is also joined by the Singapore-based International Festival Chorus and Friends!

We celebrate the music of the visionary who wrote the soundtrack for an entire generation – John Williams. In this year of his 85th, be enthralled as the Orchestra performs favourite themes from his numerous film scores, including Hook and Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Special musical highlights from the magnificent Star Wars saga will also be performed on its 40th anniversary.

Celebrate also the anniversary of Singapore’s first ever Olympic Gold Medal with Call of the Champions, which was written for the 2002 Winter Olympics. It will be a concert not to be missed, simply because when OMM performs these works, they are one with the force.
